'Teach That Tune' 

Tune teaching workshop at Turqoise cafe (Ballinastoe crossroads, Roundwood, Co.Wicklow). We started off this new initiative of Roots in Tune, with 3 wonderful musicians who each teached a trad tune from their countries of origins. Fiddler Ivo Lemahieu from Belgium, Guitarist and vocalist Marios Kazasidis from Greece and Flutist Laetitia Chauve from France each teached a tune during a short workshop (60min. each). We started off at 11:00 and finished at 15:00. At the end of the workshop we played our music for the customers of the Sunday Farmers Market. If interested to attend similar workshops in future, please send us an email, mentioning Teach that Tune, your name and instrument. The Teach that Tune workshops are Free events, but spaces are limited. We are looking forward to meeting you all on a next event!

We are having a Ball! Balfolk dance instructor Serena Piotti and Balfolk musician Agnese D'Anna  had a ball at the Mud Island community Garden.  Musicians and dancers from the community came together and had a lovely afternoon of music and dancing  https://mudisland.ie/event/open-day-3/
